Welcome To The Northside was born in Dublin in 2015 from a simple idea: to create a place where U2 fans travelling from around the world could come together, meet old friends, make new ones and celebrate the music, history and city that connects us all.
What began as a fan gathering has grown into an international community, bringing people back to Dublin year after year for live music, special events, U2 history and unforgettable weekends.
In 2026, we celebrate two incredible milestones with U250 — 50 years of U2 and over a decade of Welcome To The Northside.
From Dublin’s Northside to U2 fans across the world, this has always been about more than music.

U250 WEEKEND 2026
Zooropa will open the weekend with a special live performance at Opium Dublin, delivering a set that blends the U2 songs everyone expects with fan-loved deep cuts and hidden gems. Known for capturing both the sound and spirit of U2’s music, the band promise a night that celebrates the breadth, ambition and emotion of the catalogue. There may also be a special guest or two on the night, making this a unique opening show.
U2BABY are widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading U2 tribute bands, renowned for recreating not just the sound and look of U2 — but the feeling of a live U2 concert. Based in the UK with international roots, they are regularly flown into Dublin for official fan events due to their authenticity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
